Karen Flynn (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who has experience as a school-based therapist working with children and families. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University, Worden School of Social Service with a concentration in Hispanic Children and Families and is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Social Work at the University of South Carolina.

As a social worker, Karen firmly believes in a clients right to self-determination and autonomy and views her work with her clients as a sacred opportunity to collaborate with individuals to find the best ways to navigate life. She strives to provide a space free of judgement where individuals can safely discuss vulnerabilities, traumas, and victories.

Karen’s work with clients has allowed her to pull from various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Her past experience with clients includes anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, stress management, & life transitions.

Karen is available to meet with clients around the state via online appointments and has flexible availability to include evenings and weekends.
