Having honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years, Larry’s time in the military instilled in him a sense of discipline and a profound understanding of teamwork, leadership, and the resilience of the human spirit. These experiences have significantly shaped his approach to mental health counseling, where he aims to bring the same level of commitment and care. Family forms the cornerstone of Larry’s world. As a devoted husband and father of four, he cherishes the joys and challenges of family life. His role as a parent and spouse deeply influences his perspective on mental wellness, highlighting the importance of support systems and the impact of family dynamics on individual health.

In addition to his academic and family commitments, Larry is a dedicated minister. His faith and spiritual leadership play a critical role in his approach to counseling, offering a unique perspective that integrates emotional and psychological well-being. Larry finds solace and rejuvenation in the great outdoors when not immersed in his studies or family activities. An avid road cyclist, he relishes the freedom and challenge of traversing miles of scenic roads. This passion for cycling keeps him physically active and provides a valuable mental respite, a time for reflection and connection with nature. As he continues his journey in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, he brings a wealth of experience and a heart dedicated to positively impacting the lives of those around him.
