Hi, my name is Rosemary Barbour but I go by Rose. As a counseling intern with a background in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), I’ve transitioned my skills in crisis management to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My passion lies in addressing PTSD and trauma, especially among first responders and military personnel. Recognizing their unique stressors, I’m dedicated to providing tailored counseling services to both active and retired individuals.

With this being said, my passion for helping others is the driving force behind my commitment to pursuing excellence in counseling. Beyond trauma and PTSD, I am equally committed to helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, stress, and emotion regulation. Through compassionate and evidence-based counseling, I aspire to play a vital role in fostering resilience and facilitating healing across a spectrum of mental health challenges.

I would describe my working therapy style as collaborative and person-centered, where trust and empathy serve as the pillars of our therapeutic journey. Integrating elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, I want to empower clients with practical tools for promoting positive change. It is my sincere belief that through this approach, individuals can embark on a path of self-discovery and growth.
